0415L-SATURDAY UPDATE FROM ENID/GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-5/26/18

1-Looks like the main issue today will be the heat. After a lot of rainfall, we will be humid and with temps possibly in the low to mid 90’s, you’ll need to pace yourself so the heat doesn’t overtake you.

2-I am attaching a HEAT INDEX graphic. Copy this and keep it for reference. This way you can estimate the actual heat by temperature and humidity.

3- We will see sunshine and starlight until Sunday evening when we transition back to possible thunderstorm activity. Until then, be careful during the day and enjoy your evenings.

4- Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Saturday-Sunny with a high near 94. Heat index values as high as 97. Light south wind becoming southeast 5 to 10 mph in the afternoon.

Saturday Night-Clear, with a low around 69. East southeast wind around 5 to 10 mph.
