0320L-SUNDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT- 4/20/25

Flood watch still in effect until 7pm this evening. We haven’t received that much rain at this time but we’ll see what happens during the day. We’re also in a GENERAL RISK area for thunderstorms. Nothing severe at this time is expected. We do need the rain so enjoy while you can. Rain is also in the forecast for most of the up and coming week.

Overall, we’ll be ok. Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN:

Today- A chance of thunderstorms. Showers, mainly this morning. Some thunderstorms may produce heavy rainfall. Highs in the upper 50s. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph, becoming west 15 to 20 mph this afternoon. Chance of rain near 100 percent.

Tonight- Mostly clear. Lows in the lower 40s. West winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph, becoming southwest around 5 mph after midnight.
