0310L-SUNDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT- 4/27/25

FYI WEATHER PERMITTING- WE WILL TEST THE ENID STORM SIRENS AT NOON ON MONDAY.

*We are in a MARGINAL/GENERAL Risk area for thunderstorms later today and tonight. We are on the eastern periphery of the Marginal Risk so we’ll keep an eye out and see what happens. We will be in a Slight Risk area for Monday and Tuesday and the flood risk for us may increase depending on the cold front location and where the dryline sets up tomorrow into Tuesday. The dryline should remain in the panhandles later today though. As usual, it’s a mess, so we’ll take this one day at a time.

Overall, we’ll be ok. Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN:

Today- Patchy fog this morning. Cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms this morning, then partly sunny this afternoon. Not as cool with highs in the upper 70s. Southeast winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph. Chance of rain 30 percent.

Tonight- Partly cloudy. Lows in the mid-60s. South winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.
