0330L-SUNDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-12/11/22

1- Cool again today and possibly foggy conditions may exist out there so use caution while driving if the fog rolls in. Keep in mind that if we are around freezing temps say, 35 degrees or less, pay close attention to bridges and overpasses for slick conditions since both can freeze especially when foggy conditions exist. Just be careful.

2- Per the Drought Monitor, we are still in an EXTREME DROUGHT. Call 580-234-FIRE (3473) for controlled Burns and if they get out of control, call 911 and we’ll come out and visit.

3- Overall, we’ll be ok so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today- Areas of dense fog this morning. Mostly cloudy. Highs in the upper 40s. Southeast winds around 5 mph.

Tonight- Mostly cloudy. Areas of fog after midnight. Near steady temperature in the mid-40s. Southeast winds 5 to 10 mph.
