0400L-THURSDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-4/15/21

1- RAIN is in the forecast later today and tonight. Hopefully, we see at least what is forecast for the area which is around ¼ of an inch. We definitely need a bit more but right now; we’ll take anything that we can get. Friday morning still looks promising so we’ll wait and see what mother nature throws at us.

2- Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Thursday-Cloudy. Rain showers likely in the afternoon. Highs in the mid-50s. East winds 10 to 15 mph. Chance of showers 60 percent.

Thursday Night-Rain showers likely and a slight chance of thunderstorms in the evening, then rain showers and a slight chance of thunderstorms after midnight. Lows in the lower 40s. East winds around 10 mph. Chance of precipitation 80 percent.

3- We will remain cool, 50s and 60s through at least mid-week next week so keep a jacket in the car.
