0305L-THURSDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT 02/01/24

*There is a slight chance for a few sprinkles early this morning due to a trough moving through the area. Nothing to worry about today. Skies will become partly cloudy and winds will increase as the day wears on. Expect another warm day but windy. Friday will be transition day to a rainy pattern for the weekend. There is a chance we might not see much rain depending on if we get dry slotted by this system. This will depend on actual storm track so we’ll see what happens.

*As it stands right now, there is a chance for severe weather in southwest Oklahoma tomorrow but those chances are low in our area. We’ll see what happens. Overall, we’ll be ok so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today- Mostly sunny. A slight chance of sprinkles this morning. Highs in the lower 70s. South winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.

Tonight- Mostly clear in the evening, then becoming partly cloudy. Lows in the upper 40s. South winds 5 to 10 mph.

HAVE A GOOD DAY!
