0330L-THURSDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-10/06/22

1- Enjoy the day as early tomorrow morning a cold front will push in lowering our temps for Friday into Saturday. There is a slight chance for rain with this but not holding my breath yet. Rain is actually in the forecast for next week so we’ll see if the pattern change forecast pans out with the gulf opening back up. That would be nice to start receiving some actual rainfall.

2- Until then, today will be warm with NW winds. Fire Danger is still there so be extremely careful. Call 911 if you see smoke and fire.

3- Overall, we’ll be ok so prepare for a much cooler weekend.  Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today-Sunny. Highs in the lower 80s. Northwest winds 5 to 10 mph.

Tonight-Partly cloudy. Lows in the lower 50s. North winds around 5 mph, becoming northeast 10 to 15 mph after midnight.

Have a good day!
