0240L-TUESDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT 02/06/24

*DENSE FOG ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10AM THIS MORNING. If fog occurs, use extreme caution on bridges and overpasses and if we drop below freezing, watch out for slick spots out there. We will warm up today and the winds become southerly early this morning. Winds will average around 10 mph. This said, here is your forecast for today from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today- Patchy fog this morning. Partly sunny. Highs in the upper 50s. South winds 5 to 10 mph.

Tonight- Mostly cloudy. Lows in the lower 40s. South winds around 10 mph.

*Winds will increase starting on Wednesday out of the south with some wind gusts exceeding 35 mph on Thursday. There is a low chance for rain on Wednesday later in the day. We expect a front on Saturday bringing strong northerly winds and then a chance for rain over the weekend. Another dreary and cold weekend looks apparent right now. There is a low chance for a rain/snow mix while we are below freezing late Sunday night. We’ll see what happens and how the forecast verifies.

HAVE A GOOD DAY!
