1- WIND ADVISORY in effect from 9am today until 1am Wednesday morning. It wouldn’t surprise me that we end up in a High wind warning today. We’ll see.

2- The High Wind Watch I mentioned last night is now a HIGH WIND WARNING just to our west. If you plan to travel west, extremely dangerous crosswinds could cause driving issues especially in high profile vehicles. Just be careful!

3- GRASSLAND FIRE DANGER has been issued and we are included in this one. Temps-80-90 degrees, winds 35-40 gusting over 50mph, Humidity 20-25%. TIMING is from 9am until 9pm. NO BURNING OF ANY KIND TODAY  If you see smoke or fire, call 911 immediately so the proper response can be dispatched.

4- Here is your countywide forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today-Sunny. Very windy. Highs around 90. Southwest winds 15 to 25 mph increasing to west 30 to 40 mph with gusts to around 55 mph in the afternoon.

Tonight-Partly cloudy. Windy, cooler. Lows in the upper 50s. Northwest winds 25 to 35 mph. Gusts up to 50 mph in the evening.
