0325L-TUESDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-5/30/23

* I think what I should say and let it go, is: it might rain, or it might not rain. This seems to have been the pattern and will remain the pattern through this coming weekend. This Thursday and Friday look to become a possible severe threat but between now and then, it will be anywhere from a 20% to 70% chance for rain on any given day. We’ll see what happens.

*TODAY- we’ll see clear skies for awhile so if the sun is out like it was yesterday, get outside and enjoy it. Sunshine is actually good for you contrary to popular belief. Overall, we’ll have periods of clear, partly clear, and cloudy conditions this week, along with some showers and thunderstorm activity. We’ll just deal with it as it occurs.

*Overall, we’ll be ok so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today- Mostly sunny. A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms this afternoon. Highs in the mid-80s. South winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent.

Tonight- Mostly clear in the evening, then partly cloudy with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after midnight. Lows in the mid-60s. South winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 20 percent
