1-Your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today-Sunny, windy, cooler with highs in the mid-60s. Northwest winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph, increasing to 25 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph this afternoon.

Tonight-Clear, windy with lows around 40. Northwest winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 40 mph, diminishing to around 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph after midnight.

2-FOR TODAY: RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM UNTIL 10 PM TONIGHT. Extreme fire weather conditions will exist during this time frame. We are expecting extreme fire behavior if fires occur. No controlled burning today. Thank you.

3-FOR THE PUBLIC: If fires do occur, technically for the rest of the week, PLEASE stay away from that area as fire apparatus will be moving all around those particular areas. We don’t need accidents in a fire zone. It’s dangerous enough just for us so please stay clear of those areas.
