0350L-WEDNESDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-6/29/22

1- Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Wednesday-Sunny. Highs in the lower 90s. South winds 10 to 15 mph.

Wednesday Night-Clear. Lows in the mid-60s. Southeast winds 10 to 15 mph

2- Warm temps and a little wind will be the main weather items for the next few days then a chance for rain through the weekend. Next week, the HEAT DOME returns and temps will average around 96 to 100+ degrees. Welcome back to the reality of summer.

3- Until we get through the 4th, here is the law on fireworks once again;

It’s illegal to fire them off of a county road. Here is the STATE LAW;

FIREWORKS- TITLE 68, Article 16-Fireworks, Section 1627- It shall be unlawful to explode or ignite fireworks within five hundred feet of any church, hospital, asylum, unharvested, flammable agricultural crop, public school or where fireworks are stored, sold, or offered for sale. No person shall ignite or discharge any permissible articles of fireworks within or throw the same from a motor vehicle; nor shall any person place or throw any ignited article of fireworks into or at such vehicle or at or near any group of people.
