0245L-WEDNESDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-6/07/23

* More of the same weather is expected today as we have had for the last several weeks. The severe potential appears low once again but wind and/or hail will dictate that parameter. Just FYI- Severe parameters are 1 inch hail and winds in excess of 58 mph. Any storms that form, will be potential torrential rain producers. The Kremlin area received around 1.5 to 2 inches of rainfall, per reports, in roughly 30 minutes yesterday. Storms won’t be moving very fast either. Movement will be around 5-10 mph or less. We’ll see what happens IF ANYTHING TODAY.

*Overall, we’ll be ok so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Wednesday-Sunny. Highs in the upper 80s. West winds around 5 mph, becoming south around 5 mph in the afternoon.

Wednesday Night-Partly cloudy in the evening, then clearing. Lows in the mid-60s. South winds around 5 mph, becoming west after midnight.
