0255L-WEDNESDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT 10/02/24

*The warmup begins today as warm air aloft moves in from the southwest. With virtually no moisture in the region, we’ll continue to see the drought worsen as we move deeper into Fall. We already share severe and extreme drought issues and we have no rain in sight for the next 5 to 10 days.  High temps will average around 90 and lows will average around 60. If you see smoke or fire, call 911 immediately so a quick response can be sent.

Overall, we’ll be ok so here’s your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today- Sunny. Highs in the upper 80s. South winds 10 to 15 mph.

Tonight- Clear. Not as cool with lows in the lower 60s. South winds 10 to 15 mph
