0255L-MONDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT 10/07/24
*Nothing new on the weather as we’ll remain warm during the days and cool at night. Daytime highs in the mid to upper 80s along with lows in the mid-50s or so, will be the norm this week. There is an extremely slight chance for sprinkles Tuesday morning. Don’t hold your breath though.
*The fire danger is slightly elevated but with foliage drying out, dew point temps in the 40s, and humidity in the low 20s, it won’t take long for any fire that gets started to take hold. One thing we have going for us is that the winds will be mostly light.
*Overall, we’ll be ok. Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;
Today- Sunny. Highs in the lower 80s. East winds 5 to 10 mph.
Tonight- Mostly clear. Lows in the lower 50s. East winds 5 to 10 mph.
*Be sure to download our GARFIELD COUNTY EM app. You’re not prepared without it!
HAVE A GOOD DAY!
