0320-SATURDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT 01/06/24

*Clouds should slowly erode today as the large trough we’ve dealt with moves away. It will still feel chilly outside but we should see some sunshine later today and tomorrow during the day at least. Another system will move in on Monday bringing us another chance for some additional rainfall and possibly some snow.

*I know that many are saying we will get a lot of snow but no one knows for sure until it’s over. The exact storm track hasn’t been 100% determined so we’ll wait and see where everything lines up. There are several variables on how this system will set up along with the passage of a cold front. There is NO REASON TO PANIC though so enjoy your weekend. Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today- Mostly cloudy this morning, then becoming partly sunny. Highs in the mid-40s. Northwest winds 5 to 10 mph.

Tonight- Mostly clear. Cold with lows in the mid-20s. West winds 5 to 10 mph.
