0315L- THURSDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-12/29/22

1- Strong winds will continue today with some wind gusts upwards of 30 mph. We are expecting a weak front to push in this afternoon. This front will bring slightly cooler temps along with a wind shift from the WNW around 5-15 mph. No rain is expected here.

2- The FIRE DANGER will continue to exist but humidity will be higher. Winds will be gusty so continue to use caution while doing anything related to fire.

3- Overall, we’ll be ok so here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today- Mostly sunny. Highs in the upper 50s. Southwest winds 15 to 20 mph, becoming west 10 to 15 mph this afternoon.

Tonight- Partly cloudy. Colder with lows around 30. Northeast winds around 5 mph.
