0400L-WEDNESDAY OUTLOOK FROM GARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT-4/20/22

1- Here is your forecast from the NWS/NORMAN;

Today-Mostly cloudy this morning, then clearing. Breezy and much warmer with highs around 90. South winds 20 to 25 mph, becoming west 15 to 20 mph this afternoon.

Tonight-Mostly clear in the evening, then becoming partly cloudy. Lows in the upper 50s. Northeast winds 10 to 15 mph, becoming east after midnight.

2- A storm system will push across the area today during a time when we are strongly capped. Per guidance, there is a very slight chance for any rainfall here as this system moves through. If any storms form, it would most likely be east of us. The dryline will set up early and most likely push eastward as far as I-35 so we’ll have to wait and see what happens.

3- Overall, we should be ok. A better chance for storms will be over the weekend.
