MARGINAL RISK FOR SEVERE WEATHER AND WE ARE IN A FLOOD WATCH FROM NOW UNTIL MAY 1, 2025, AT 0100 LOCAL TIME.
First of all, if you plan in traveling south ANYWHERE along the Red River Valley, check road conditions. Many flood warnings are in progress. You can check road conditions for our region here at gcem.org and scroll down to roughly the middle of the front page.
Rainfall will continue here today off and on. If any storm goes severe, IN OUR AREA, it will most likely be due to hail and or winds. The tornado threat here is low. Down south along the Red River, all hazards are possible. Just stay home and enjoy the rain.

Today- A chance of thunderstorms. Showers this morning. Some thunderstorms may produce heavy rainfall. Highs in the lower 70s. Southeast winds 5 to 10 mph, becoming south. Chance of rain 90 percent.
Tonight- Showers likely with a chance for thunderstorms this evening and after midnight. Lows in the lower 50s. Southeast winds 5 to 10 mph, becoming west after midnight. Chance of rain 70 percent.
